Covid wreaking havoc on postal service delivery times across the country

Covid seems to be causing big delays in parcel delivery for the Postal Service.  Articles are popping up from all across the country on postal delivery delays.  Parcels are up 40% over last year now and that is expected to grow as Christmas sneaks closer.

Postal workers for their part are doing everything they can, including working overtime to try to get parcels delivered.  Your local carrier can only deliver what gets sent to their office and many packages are taking a long time to reach the local offices.  Plants and offices across the country are working with a limited staff due to Covid and things are moving slower. Everyone is doing the best they can with what they have.

Take a minute and thank your postal workers who are working under extreme pressure the midst of unprecedented challenges.  I promise they will appreciate the gesture.
