A Camden County man who drove a truck as a contractor for the U.S. Postal Service was charged Thursday with crimes related to financial card theft.
James Lang Jr., 52, was arrested at the Moyock Post Office Thursday and charged with felony financial card theft, misdemeanor financial card fraud and possession of stolen goods, said Chief Jeff Walker of the Currituck County Sheriff’s Office.
The charges are related to an attempt to illegally use a mailed gift card, Walker said.
He was released on a $5,000 secured bond. Lang’s court date is set for Sept. 26
