CINCINNATI (WKRC) – When William Leonard starting working for the postal service, a first-class stamp cost 6 cents. That was in 1969 and now, the post office and the city celebrated Leonard’s 50 years on the job.
Leonard works as a mail handler at the processing and distribution center on Dalton Avenue. On Tuesday, his co-workers, family and friends congratulated him for his half-century of service, and a proclamation from the postal service was read, naming March 19 as William L. Leonard Day.
