
A Bunch man pleaded guilty in Eastern District Court last week to assaulting a postal worker with a knife.
According to the indictment, on or about July 24, 2018, Jeremy Lee Poafpybitty, 33, attacked an employee of the U.S. Postal Service with a deadly and dangerous weapon, inflicting bodily harm.
The charges arose from an investigation by the U.S. Postal Inspection Service.
The crime is punishable by not more than 20 years imprisonment, a fine up to $250,000 or both.
