
A driver who was using his cell phone last year when he caused a crash which seriously injured a 61-year-old postal worker delivering mail in Salem County has been arrested.
Daniel H. Crane, 29, was charged with assault by auto and ticketed for use of a cell phone while driving and reckless driving following a lengthy investigation, Lower Alloways Creek police said Wednesday.
Crane was driving a pick-up truck on Beasley Neck Road at about 10:40 a.m. on Feb. 21, 2018, when he rear-ended a postal vehicle, Det. Corporal Michael DeParre told NJ Advance Media on Thursday morning
