$50K reward offered in USPS letter carrier robbery investigation

A reward of up to $50,000 is being offered in connection with the investigation into the robbery of a letter carrier delivering mail in west Baltimore.

According to the U.S. Postal Inspection Service, someone robbed a U.S. Postal Service letter carrier around 6:10 p.m. Monday in the 2700 block of West Mosher Street.

Investigators said the assailant fled in the letter carrier’s USPS truck, a Dodge Sprinter van with official USPS markings. Postal inspectors have since recovered the vehicle.

Anyone with information is asked to call the U.S. Postal Inspection Service at 877-876-2455 (say “Law Enforcement”) and reference case No. 3238468. All information will be kept confidential.
