Postal worker robbed in broad daylight in Atlanta

ATLANTA — Atlanta Police are investigating after a postal worker was robbed in broad daylight in Buckhead Thursday afternoon.

Authorities said the robbery occurred near Peachtree Road at 250 Pharr Road, NE, which is the address for the Eclipse residential condos– across from the Atlanta Fish Market.

Several police vehicles are at the scene, and nearby apartment buildings have been placed on lockdown as a precaution. Multiple USPS workers are also at the scene.

There is no word on the suspect’s whereabouts at this time.
