Postal Service Employee Arrested in San Angelo for Stealing Mail

SAN ANGELO, TX — Andrea Renee Barickman, 48, has been arrested by the San Angelo Police Department in connection with multiple charges, including the theft of mail from over 30 addresses.

Barickman, who was wanted by authorities in Kendall County, was taken into custody on September 3, 2024, just after 5 p.m.

Barickman, a former United States Postal Service employee, is facing several charges, including mail theft, abuse of official capacity, and theft of property valued between $2,500 and $30,000. Her bond has been set at $60,000.

The charges stem from an investigation by the Boerne Police Department and the Kendall County Criminal District Attorney’s Office. Authorities had previously believed Barickman was in the San Angelo area, and their efforts to locate her culminated in her arrest this week.
