Postal Bulletin takes a look at the annual employee survey

Postal Pulse Survey: 2026 Administration

The 2026 Postal Pulse® Survey will run from March 10, 2026, through April 17, 2026. This year will mark the third administration of this survey. The survey includes actionable items that gather employee feedback on a variety of topics affecting the work environment, such as training and development, team dynamics, managerial support, and safety.

What Did Employees Say in 2025?

What we heard in 2025:

The FY2025 survey results showed that 71 percent of the 103,755 employees that participated in the survey are engaged. Overall, employees are proud to work at the Postal Service®, know what is expected of them, and understand their contributions to the success of the Postal Service. We also identified two key drivers of engagement for our organization: employees believing their opinions matter and that feedback from the survey will be used to make improvements.

How we are responding:

The Postal Pulse Results Dashboard provides access to survey data, reports, and USPS® overall results. Managers can filter survey data and navigate results for their District, Division, or VP organization. Managers who have five or more survey responses can view their functional report.

As we work to address your insights, the Postal Service and its leadership are fully committed to developing and sustaining a workplace culture that responds to feedback and makes changes to improve the work environment. Dashboard reports show that managers across the organization have met with their teams, discussed their results, and used the tool to input action plans to monitor and track team progress using a simple three-step approach:

1. Identify ONE survey item to focus on in your action plan.

2. Identify TWO actions you or your team will take to make improvements.

3. Commit to THREE dates to follow up on the progress of the plan.

We will continue to provide guidance and support to increase manager participation in creating action plans with your input. Together we can shape a better, stronger outlook for the Postal Service.

The 2026 Postal Pulse Survey will be administered from March 10, 2026, through April 17, 2026. The survey takes about 5–7 minutes to complete. We encourage employees to share their feedback by responding to the survey so we can help ensure the survey results provide a representative view of the workplace.

Watch for further communications and complete the survey to share your feedback regarding the employee experience.
