OPM Launches Site for Accessing Employee Records After Separation

OPM has announced a new online portal for eligible former federal employees to obtain the electronic personnel records by email.

Users complete a one-time identity verification for the Document Request Service, and submit an online request to receive an email with a one-time download link to a password-protected ZIP file with their complete eOPF, according to an announcement.

The eOPF is commonly needed to verify federal service, support retirement and benefits claims, or assist with security clearance reviews.
