New USPS finance and planning VP named

Steve Darragh has been named the Postal Service’s finance and planning vice president.

He will be responsible for directing all financial planning activities for USPS, including short- and long-range financial forecasts and annual budgets. He will also oversee capital investment plans and lead projects through the review and approval process, among other duties.

Most recently, Darragh was compensation and benefits executive director, leading the organization’s move to the Postal Service Health Benefits Program.

He joined USPS in 1985 and has held several roles in finance at the district, area and headquarters levels, including area finance manager and business services director for the chief information officer’s organization.
