NAPS – Plant Ranking & Staffing Implementation

Plant Ranking & Staffing Implementation

At the close of business on Friday, June 20, 2025, NAPS received the email below announcing a RIF and Plant Reclassification.

NAPS has been briefed on the Plant reclassification. This briefing did not include any statement of the RIF’s that are now being implemented. NAPS has confirmed this with USPS HQ in the response that was received concerning the extreme difference between what we were brief on and what is now being implemented.

NAPS is looking into available options for addressing this discrepancy.
