N.J. man sentenced in post office drug distribution scheme

A Morris County man has been sentenced to 10 years in prison after pleading guilty to distributing drugs through the U.S. Postal Service.

Eldridge Cruzado, 21, of Kenvil, had pleaded guilty to second-degree distribution of lysergic acid diethylamide, commonly known as LSD, after being arrested following a months-long investigation last year.

Superior Court Judge Ralph E. Amirata handed down the sentence last Friday, the Morris County Prosecutor’s Office said Wednesday.

Attorney information for Cruzado was unavailable.
Authorities investigated Cruzado between May and June of last year, finding packages containing the narcotic that he sent through several post offices in Morris County.
