Moonbug Entertainment and the United States Postal Service (USPS) have launched a second season of Mail with Mr. ZIP on YouTube, with the support of TRAVERSE32.
“Families connected with Mr. ZIP in season one because of the show’s heart—its kindness, friendships and community spirit,” said Kirsten McAuliffe, head of partnerships for North America at Moonbug Entertainment. “In season two, we leaned even further into those themes while expanding the world with new adventures and characters.”
Mail with Mr. ZIP features a reimagined version of the USPS’s Mr. ZIP character, originally created in the 1960s to encourage the public to use the ZIP code, the then-new number system for U.S. mail. The new series features two-minute episodes, each accompanied by an original song-based companion episode, and follows as Mr. ZIP and his USPS friends embark on adventures while delivering mail within their community.
Season two will see Mr. ZIP celebrate Lunar New Year, Halloween and other milestones, like the United States’ 250th birthday. His travels will also take him all the way to Paris to meet Madame La Poste.
Season one launched in February 2025 and amassed 65 million views, including 1.4 million hours of watch time and 45,000 subscribers.
“The broad appeal of Mail with Mr. ZIP has inspired us to expand his vibrant universe and incorporate new characters who share Mr. ZIP’s values and sense of adventure,” said Sheila Holman, marketing VP for USPS. “We’re confident that season two will continue to captivate established and new fans, providing a cheerful and trusted space for this young generation.”
Brendan Gaul and Brett Henenberg, co-presidents of TRAVERSE32, commented, “TRAVERSE32 has long enjoyed a successful alliance with the USPS, and we’re pleased that a show with such heart and bolstering community connections has resonated with young viewers and their families.”
