‘Mail with Mr. ZIP’ gets a second season

“Mail with Mr. ZIP” — the animated series on YouTube that aims to increase awareness of the Postal Service among young audiences — was recently renewed for a second season.

The new season will consist of 48 episodes that continue to feature narration, original songs and Mr. ZIP’s friends, eagle B. Franklin and Farley, the blue collection box.

The first episode of the second season highlighting the Lunar New Year has been one of the most popular episodes of the series to date and garnered 2.9 million views within one month of its debut. The channel has more than 56,000 subscribers, with viewership growing.

“We are excited to launch season two and grow the world of Mr. ZIP and friends. This season is special, with Mr. ZIP going on more adventures across the country and overseas. We will see new characters in this season and celebrate the country turning 250,” said Amity Kirby, the USPS licensing and creative manager.

In the new season, Mr. ZIP and friends will visit destinations such as Hawaii and the Grand Canyon. There will also be a special episode to celebrate the 250th anniversary of the United States.

The USPS licensing and creative team also collaborated with La Poste, a postal service company in France, on a crossover episode. Scheduled to air in August, the episode will see Mr. ZIP and B. Franklin travel to Paris to meet their friend, Madame La Poste.

Mr. ZIP was originally introduced in 1963 to teach customers about the ZIP Code system. The YouTube series debuted on Feb. 8, 2025, and is produced by Moonbug Entertainment, the children’s media company that is also behind YouTube’s popular Blippi and Cocomelon channels.
