Mail truck damaged, one injured in 9th Street wreck

WICHITA FALLS, Texas (KAUZ) – A USPS mail truck sustained significant damage after a head-on collision where 9th Street intersects Seymour Highway.

A police officer confirmed that one vehicle turning off of 9th Street struck the other vehicle, which was coming down Seymour Highway. First responders on scene said decreased visibility from the setting sun likely played a part in the wreck.

The driver of the mail truck was taken to the hospital, but the extent of their injuries is unknown at this time.
