A former Westminster post office employee who hid a camera in the women’s bathroom was sentenced to six months of home confinement and five years of probation Tuesday, May 12, court records show.
Nicholas Testagrossa, an Iraq war combat veteran, gave an apology in Worcester’s federal court, his lawyer told the Telegram & Gazette, and received support from his former commanding officer.
“He is very remorseful,” the lawyer, Steven W. Panagiotes, said in a phone interview, adding he was confident the Rindge, New Hampshire, man would not reoffend.
Testagrossa pleaded guilty in February to voyeurism and obstruction charges after prosecutors presented evidence he placed a hidden camera in a post office bathroom and tried to cover his tracks.
A female co-worker discovered the camera May 28, 2025, court records show, and video from the camera’s memory card showed Testagrossa testing, installing and positioning it.
