Former postal worker receives probation

TOLEDO – A Tiffin woman was sentenced to two years of probation for theft of mail by a postal employee.

Megan Huffman, 34, of Tiffin was charged with one count of theft of mail by a postal employee, a fourth-degree felony Sept. 12 of last year.

She was sentenced Monday in U.S. District Court – Northern District of Ohio to two years of probation, restitution was ordered for $2,549.20 and a special assessment of $100 is due.

The Postmaster of the Tiffin USPS office confirmed to the A-T that Huffman was an employee there.
