Family seeks justice after mail carrier shot and killed in Warren

WARREN, Ohio (WJW) — Friends and family members of a 33-year-old U.S. Postal Service employee who was shot and killed Saturday afternoon are hoping the shooter will be arrested soon.

Tracey Kindler, a longtime family friend, said Jonte Davis was “extremely kind” and loved his family.

Police are calling the shooting a targeted attack. The shooting happened around 1:44 p.m. near the 600 Block of Olive Avenue NE in Warren.
