AMARILLO, Texas (KFDA) – Amarillo police are investigating a hit-and-run incident Saturday that left a mail carrier hospitalized.
On Saturday afternoon, officers were sent to a hit-and-run involving a person in the road on Susan Drive near South Georgia Elementary.
Police say the mail carrier was walking up to a house to deliver mail when he was struck by a white truck.
The victim was taken to an area hospital for his injuries.
While investigating, police say officers were able to identify a possible suspect.
The incident remains under investigation.
