$250,000 reward offered in killing of metro Atlanta postal worker while he was on the job

DECATUR, Ga. — The United States Postal Inspection Service is now offering a massive reward for information that can lead to an arrest in the killing of a postal worker in DeKalb County late last week.

Dequavious Graves, who was just 31, was shot and killed on Thursday, Feb. 12 just before 7 p.m. while on the job as a USPS worker, completing a route on Oxford Drive in Decatur.

He had worked for the United States Postal Service for three years, an official told 11Alive. According to his friends, Graves loved working for USPS as a postal worker. They said he also worked as a music producer. They described him as a model citizen, an artistic genius, and a great friend.
