@chelsssayYall my friend works for the post office and she was delivering a package on a one way street when a car pulled up behind her and began to beep and scream at her to hurry up. When my friend didn’t hurry up like he asked he got out his car and assaulted her. You hear him making many threats telling her she’s going to “find out today”, walking up on her repeatedly and finally physically assaulting her. He also stole her phone & attempted to move her mail truck.♬ original sound – Summer Runner
A man was arrested after he was caught on multiple videos attacking a female postal worker in Northeast Philadelphia over the weekend, law enforcement sources confirmed.
The sources told NBC10 the incident occurred around 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 4, on the 6500 block of Horrocks Street. A man, later identified as 25-year-old Fabián Colón, was driving in the area when he became angry over a United States Postal Service (USPS) truck that was blocking a one-way street, the sources said.
Colón allegedly got out of his vehicle, went inside the USPS truck and tried to drive off. The postal worker then went into her truck and pulled the keys out of the ignition, sources said. She then began to record the incident as Colón confronted and attacked her, according to investigators.
Videos posted on social media showed a man – who police identified as Colón – attacking the woman. Officials are currently using the videos as part of their investigation.
