The Postal Service has named Dave Webster as Eastern Processing Region’s vice president, a role he has held on an acting basis since July.
Webster reports to Chief Processing and Distribution Officer Isaac Cronkhite and oversees processing and distribution across six divisions: Chesapeake, New England, New York Metro, South Atlantic, Southeast and Florida. This region has 107 processing facilities and more than 55,000 employees.
Previously, Webster served as Chesapeake Division’s processing operations senior director. Other past assignments include district manager for the former Western Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, Harrisburg, South Jersey, Appalachian, Northern Ohio and Greensboro districts.
He also held positions as senior plant manager at several processing and distribution centers and was operations support manager for the former Eastern Area.
Webster began his USPS career as a distribution clerk in 1991.

Wow, he sure looks happy. He certainly bears some responsibility for the ongoing deluge of delayed mail and it says a lot that the acting person in charge got the job. It doesn’t look like Steiner really believed what he said about improving service after all. He barely shows his face. Good luck bud.
