Wife of man struck by USPS driver accused of drunk driving shares update

EAST LONGMEADOW, Mass. (WGGB/WSHM) – It’s a story we’ve been following since it happened last week, a post man was accused of driving drunk, crashing into several cars, a bank, and an innocent bystander.

Now, the wife of the bystander is sharing her family’s side of the story.

It has certainly been a rough month for Jessica Mann and her family. She told us her husband, 30-year-old Angelo Fabozzi, was going about his business last week heading into his local Pride gas station to grab his coffee as he did every day before work. But this day would turn out to be more than just a regular day.

Sometime between parking his car and walking to get his coffee, Fabozzi was struck by a mail truck, leaving him with severe injuries. Mann told us that Fabozzi was at Baystate Medical Center for almost three days, with nurses telling her that they were not sure how her husband survived such trauma.
