A longtime United States Postal Service mail carrier is fighting for his life, and the Pennsylvania community he served for nearly two decades is stepping up to help.
The campaign, launched just two days ago, has already raised over $5,600 from nearly 50 donors, including two anonymous $1,000 contributions. The goal is set at $25,000.
“Doug has always delivered for his community with a smile,” Marconi wrote. “Now he’s facing the toughest battle of his life.”
The fundraiser aims to help cover medical expenses, experimental treatments, and day-to-day financial burdens as Doug is unable to work during treatment.
