The Ballardvale Post Office will be closed indefinitely following a ceiling collapse Monday.
No one was injured in the collapse, but postal officials have not provided a timeline for the repairs. Customers who have a post office box at the Ballardvale branch can collect their mail at the central Andover Postal Office on 10 Stevens Street.
“We apologize for the inconvenience to our customers and plan to have the Ballardvale Post Office reopened and fully operational as soon as possible,” USPS said in a statement.
