Flint mail carriers learn dog safety tips to prevent attacks during USPS demonstration

FLINT, Mich.— The United States Postal Service is working with local Flint letter carriers to raise awareness about protecting mail carriers from dog attacks.

On Wednesday morning, mail carriers joined professional dog trainer Hector Hernandez and his dog for a demonstration on how to avoid attacks.

Even a responsible dog owner may not realize the financial costs involved if their pet attacks someone, including their letter carrier.
