The Eagle highlights the Postal Service’s package strategy for success

An integrated network for mail and packages has lowered operational costs and is helping the Postal Service grow its share of the nation’s package deliveries, The Eagle magazine reports in its spring issue.

The cover story examines the transformation of the postal network under the Delivering for America plan. USPS now has a strong growth trajectory based on a more efficient network, a realigned product portfolio and pricing strategies that position the organization for profitability.

Other topics include the Postal Service’s meticulous preparations for disaster recovery, stellar Election Mail performance last year and the vision for retail modernization.

The issue also looks at the history behind the words “post” and “office.”

The Postal Service mailed The Eagle to employees’ homes in April. It is also available on Newsroom, the USPS online news hub.
