Turkeys chase mail carrier throughout his route

HYANNIS, Mass. (WHDH) – One mail carrier in Massachusetts will never look at turkeys the same way again after a flock of them came after him while he was doing his job.

The entire confrontation was caught on home security video.

A trio of turkeys accosted mail carrier Wayne White on his postal route Friday afternoon in Hyannis, Massachusetts.

“I’ve come close with dogs. I do a lot of stuff on Nantucket, so I see deer all the time, but this is my first time with turkeys,” White said.

From the moment he stepped out of his delivery truck, White could be heard yelling at the birds to get away.

However, neither snow, nor rain – nor turkeys, apparently – would stop the mailman from making his delivery.
