Man arrested after harassing USPS mail carrier in Buffalo

BUFFALO, N.Y. — The Buffalo Police Department shared in a release on Wednesday that a man was arrested Monday in connection with a harassment of a United States Postal Service mail carrier that occurred earlier that day.

Around 10:45 a.m. Monday, C district officers were called to the 400 block of Doat Street for an alleged assault. Police said witnesses claimed a verbal altercation turned physical when a man yelled at, then shoved and struck, the mail carrier.

The man then fled the scene, police said. The vehicle description from witnesses was given to BPD. Soon after, Cheektowaga Police stopped the vehicle and notified BPD.

Kenneth Livingston, 37, of Buffalo was charged with one violation of harassment.
