Video: Truck crashes into Westfield, PA Post Office

WESTFIELD, Pa. (WETM) — A pickup truck drove through the front of the Westfield Post Office early on Saturday morning.

The Ford F-150 pickup truck crashed into the post office just after midnight on Sept. 21, according to the Pennsylvania State Police. Videos of the crash shared with 18 News show a black truck accelerating on Church Street towards the post office, failing to turn left or right onto Main Street at the three-way intersection, and driving straight into the building.

According to the Crary Hose Company, three people were inside the truck when it crashed, and they denied receiving medical attention.

The front of the post office sustained significant damage during the crash. A large hole left by the truck was covered up with sheets of plywood.
