Police seek help identifying hit-and-run driver in crash that flipped over postal truck

Postal driver was hurt but is expected to be OK

INKSTER, Mich. – Inkster police need your help finding the driver accused of rear-ending a mail truck, which caused it to flip over.

Police say the incident occurred Wednesday (Aug. 14) on Michigan Avenue near Beech Daly Road.

Surveillance video captured the crash. In the video, the vehicle can be seen with some front-end damage as it fled west on Michigan Avenue.

Officials say the postal driver was hurt but will be OK.

Anyone with information is asked to call Inkster police or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-Speak Up.
