Serial mail thieves sentenced after robbing USPS carriers and stealing over $500K

In March of 2023, we reported on an armed robbery of a USPS mail carrier in Stillwater.

A month later, on April 17, 2023, the United States Postal Inspection Service (USPIS) Inspectors tracked and observed an individual unlocking mailboxes with a stolen “Arrow Key,” removing U.S. mail, and placing the mail in a trash bag in Edmond before attempting to get away.

Taryan Nabond Prince-Sadler was arrested shortly after.

An investigation led to Rijae Varnell Luster, a 23-year-old co-defendant of Prince-Sadler, who admitted to driving Prince-Sadler to Stillwater to conduct the robbery.

According to public records, four different USPS postal carriers were robbed while delivering mail between Aug 2022 and March 2023 in Edmond and Stillwater.
