Video: Mail carrier attacked, robbed in Nashua neighborhood

NASHUA — Police are investigating the armed robbery of a mail carrier who was attacked while delivering mail on Blacksmith Way on Tuesday afternoon.

Police at the scene said three suspects are believed to have carried out the robbery, two of whom are described as men wearing hooded sweatshirts and masks, and another described as a White or Hispanic woman was reportedly driving a gray Ford Flex that had Massachusetts license plates. The vehicle’s direction of travel wasn’t immediately known.

The incident took place around 4 p.m. Blacksmith Way, a short cul-de-sac that runs off Kingston Drive, was filled with cruisers, detective cars and several U.S. Postal Service delivery vehicles as police interviewed neighbors and people believed to be witnesses.

The carrier wasn’t injured, police said.
