Former Lancaster County postal worker convicted of conspiring to sell 4 pounds of cocaine

A former U.S. postal worker and another man have been convicted of conspiring to sell 2,010 grams – or more than four pounds – of cocaine in Lancaster County.

Carlos Medina, 57, of Lititz, was found guilty earlier this month of possession with intent to deliver cocaine and other offenses.

The district attorney’s office said the Department of Homeland Security was alerted in March 2022 about two packages containing cocaine that were being shipped from Puerto Rico to Lancaster County.

Investigators determined both packages were being shipped through the same delivery route.

Pennsylvania State Police, the Homeland Security Department and members of the U.S. Postal Service conducted a controlled delivery of a sham kilo of cocaine on that same route
