USPS apologizes for Houston mail delays during discussion with Congress members

United States Postal Service officials apologized for recent mail delays in the Houston area during a Thursday member briefing with Texas representatives.

The meeting, which was facilitated by Rep. Pete Sessions, took place at the Missouri City Community Center and focused on looking forward instead of the roots of the delays.

“They apologize for what happened. They recognize. They took full acceptance of that and we are offering our support back, as we should,” said Sessions, the chairman of the Subcommittee on Government Operations and the Federal Workforce.
