Man arrested LIVE on air after barricading inside US Post Office in downtown Fresno

UPDATE: The barricaded suspect has been arrested. FOX26 was LIVE on air with drone video as officers stormed into the building and captured the man.

According to the Fresno Police Department, an off-duty officer saw a Hispanic man in his 20s walking around the area with a large metal stick and acting erratic.

The man then went to a parking garage, before barricading himself inside of the post office using a metal broomstick.

Two female employees were inside of the building when the suspect came in but were in a separate room and were able to lock the door.

Officers say the suspect had attached a razor blade to the end of his pipe to make a makeshift sword.
