FLOYD COUNTY, Ky. (WOWK) — A man who threatened to kill a United States Postal worker and sheriff deputies with Floyd County has been arrested.
According to a social media post made by the Floyd County Sheriff’s Office, Jonathan J. Howell was arrested around 6 p.m. Saturday evening in connection with those threats. The Floyd County Sheriff’s Office received a warrant for Howell’s arrest.
The Floyd County Sheriff’s Office says Howell was taken into custody and charged with two counts of Terroristic Threatening, along with Resisting Arrest, Disorderly Conduct, Public Intoxication and Menacing. He is currently in the Floyd County jail.
