3 Naugatuck Post Office Letter Carriers Earn Safe Driving Award

NAUGATUCK, CT — Three Naugatuck letter carriers received a “Million Mile Award” from the National Safety Council at a recent post office award ceremony.

According to a news release provided by the United States Postal Service, the three awarded letter carriers have driven 3 million miles combined without an accident.

Honored at the ceremony were Naugatuck letter carriers Michael Eureka (31 years of service), Augusto Lopes (31 years of service) and Raymond Lesko Jr. (34 years of service).

All three were presented with a plaque from the National Safety Council by Postmaster Brian Falcha, alongside Supervisor Customer Service Fernanda M. Alves.
