2024 Election Mail and Political Mail Guide

The 2024 election season is underway, and the Postal Service™ is geared up for the elections, including numerous congressional, gubernatorial, state, and local races. Thus, proper handling of Election Mail and Political Mail is critical, especially as more voters turn to the mail to participate in the electoral process.

The Postal Service’s plans are in place to ensure the timely receipt, processing, and delivery of Election Mail and Political Mail.

Key Dates

The 2024 primary and caucus season began January 15, 2024, and continues through September 2024.

The general elections will be held on Tuesday, November 5, 2024.
